Hey Newt, and/or Mods-
One criticism that I have with this new look of the board is that when the ‘News’ thingy changes, everything jumps around and I end up clicking on the wrong thing.  I find it really irritating. Am I the only one that’s bothered by this?

Hmmm...strange.  It doesn't do that for me, and no one else has smacked me upside the head for it!  Anyone else have this happen?  Let me know if it continues, Julie...not sure what to do about it, but I can post about it on the forum software's forum...that's kinda 'catchy,' isn't it?  Forum rum rum, fordarum rum rum.  Reminds me of the 'Little Drummer Boy' Christmas carol!  Darum rum rum...da da rum, rum rum.

Way too much time on my hands today, eh?  Roll Eyes Tongue

Yup Julie it happens on our 'puter as well. The forum headings jump up and down due to the different depths of the banner adverts popping up at the top of the page... It's a PITA.

Okay, I removed the two largest 'news' items from the list.  I guess it did make mine go up and down a bit, but I didn't even notice it...much less find that I missed what I was trying to click on.  I'd imagine, though, that if you have a smaller screen than my 19 incher, yours might still jump up and down if not all on one line like they are on mine.  Not sure what to do about that, other than stop using the news feature altogether.  I guess I could do that, but always felt that it was better than banner ads!  Let me know if that helped.

And oh, yeah, Dez...I'll take your name down from the birthday greeting asap.  I was waiting for someone else's birthday to happen, but I think I'm just going to totally stop doing that.  After all the grief my use, or non-use, of it caused, the fun is gone.

I had noticed the jumping up and down more since we went to the new design. I can't tell you how often I clicked on someone's profile rather than the link  Cool

It does seem better today though. LOL at the drummer boy tune stuck in your mind, Newt!
