Yesterday I was checking email when my computer just froze up. I had to do a hard shutdown and it would not boot back up. I spent some time reseating the memory, hard drive and other cards to no avail... Huh End result is that new beautiful motherboard fried and I'm using an ancient Windows 2000 computer from the closet until I get her repaired or replaced. If I am absent, it's because this antique doesn't like my air card connection and disconnects a lot. I'll be here as much as possible, but wanted y'all to know why I'm not here.

Well, this is a hardware failure so the only way to fix it is to replace the motherboard (the large circuit board inside that everything connects to). I think I can still get to all of my files once I take out the hard drive and put it in a new computer. The broken one is 4 years old and IMO not worth getting it up and running again. I forgot that I have had it for 4 years until I went to the Dell website to check my warranty. Time flies when things are going well. Cheesy She's been a good computer and had 10 usb ports to plug all my accessories in  Cheesy The computer I'm using now has 2 usb ports.
